The Rocco Effect - Thanks

When training a dog criticism and praise are the keys to growth.  We criticize to reduce the likelihood of actions recurring and praise to enhance the odds.   Humans aren't that different.

Criticism seems to come a lot easier to some people. Even if the result is failure, effort should always be praise (Considering their aim was to get a good result).  Effort is the key to growth.  Praise people when they try to do well and they'll be much more likely to try again, fail or criticize and they'll soon stop trying.

Task

1. Praise one person for their effort, each day

2. How did that make you feel?

3. Take note on if they aim to do good again

Ask better questions

Stop asking yourself 'why is my life so bad?', 'Why does no one like me?' 'Why do I fail at everything?' and focusing on all the crap, Instead ask yourself 'How can I make my life better?' 'What can I do to be more attractive?' 'What are some smaller tasks I can easily win at?' these types of questions will allow you to think of solutions.  Focusing on what you can do to improve and actively moving towards a better future (even if it's slow) will lead to a much happier and more meaningful life. Try it for a few days and notice how you feel after answering these questions.

The Rocco Effect - Staying Sane

We panic when there is no structure in our lives or when something breaks our regular structure.  So if your regular structure has changes take time to plan out a new one.  It will take a while to adjust, but once you do you'll start feeling calmer.  Give it a go and notice how much better your life becomes/ Video
