The Rocco Effect - Make It Easy

Don't practice what you do not want to become. You don't get to pick to not lay down a habit. You only get to pick which habit you want to lay down. - Chris Williamson (Modern Wisdom)

The Rocco Effect - Make It Easy

Bad habits are easy to fall into, because short term satisfaction doesn't involve much thought, long term does.  In order to eat healthier, start by not having unhealthy food in your home.  Buy healthy snacks and keep them on show, easy to get to.  If you're peckish the easy option is to eat that healthy snack on show, the difficult option is to get ready, go shopping and buy that unhealthy snack.  By adding friction to the bad habit, you're much less likely to do it.

Task

1. What bad habits do you have?
2. How can you add friction to these habits?
3. How can you make good habits easier?
4. Take action

Ask better questions

Stop asking yourself 'why is my life so bad?', 'Why does no one like me?' 'Why do I fail at everything?' and focusing on all the crap, Instead ask yourself 'How can I make my life better?' 'What can I do to be more attractive?' 'What are some smaller tasks I can easily win at?' these types of questions will allow you to think of solutions.  Focusing on what you can do to improve and actively moving towards a better future (even if it's slow) will lead to a much happier and more meaningful life. Try it for a few days and notice how you feel after answering these questions.

The Rocco Effect - Staying Sane

We panic when there is no structure in our lives or when something breaks our regular structure.  So if your regular structure has changes take time to plan out a new one.  It will take a while to adjust, but once you do you'll start feeling calmer.  Give it a go and notice how much better your life becomes/ Video
