You can't make others like you.  You can be good, kind and helpful, but that doesn't garentee being liked.  Accept this and do your best and stay truthful anyway because that's what leads to the best future.  Video 

The Rocco Effect - Body Pose

If you saw someone hunched over, head facing the ground and walking slowly how do you think they feel?  Compare that to someone standing upright, shoulders back with their head held high.  We know that our feelings put us into these poses, but did you know the opposite is possible?  We can change how we feel by changing our stance and we can prime stances by linking it to a certain feeling.  Priming takes time, but you can quickly see the effects for yourself by standing up straight with your shoulders back.  Take note of how much better you feel , then start priming other poses so you can always quickly feel your best. Do you want to become the person you've always dreamed of being? of course you do.   Constancy Bias is a psychological bias everyone has.  It states that we will want to be consistent with what we said we believed in the past.  As a result we should state that we are strong, contagious, beautiful, fun, awesome e.c.t and let the bias take over to make these things true. Do you find yourself thinking depressing thoughts, more than you'd like?  Take time to notice your surroundings friends, family, news ect  Our minds soak up what we surround yourself with so stop surrounding yourself with negativity and start surrounding yourself with positivity.  You'll be amazed at how quickly your thoughts change, for the better. Do you want your enemies to treat you better?  Try getting them to do you a small favour, failing that, just say 'Thank you for (something they did) that really helped me a lot'.  Who do you help? people you like.  By thanking them for doing favours you are persuading them into believing that they do like you.  Give it a go and share your results in the comment section. We panic when there is no structure in our lives or when something breaks our regular structure.  So if your regular structure has changes take time to plan out a new one.  It will take a while to adjust, but once you do you'll start feeling calmer.  Give it a go and notice how much better your life becomes/ Video 

The Rocco Effect - Rest

After God created the universe, earth and everything on it what did he do? He rested. If he needs to rest, so do you. So take a day or two off, focus on nothing and just relax. Take naps and make sure you get enough sleep, so you can perform at your best. Task 1. If your feeling worn out take a days rest, get off social media for a day and just focus on yourself and relaxing. 2. If your not burnt out make sure you get enough sleep tonight. 3. If you fail to get enough sleep. Nap for 20 minutes during the day. Video

The Rocco Effect - No Complaining Challenge

When we complain we put our focus on what's wrong. If you're like most people, you focus on the fact that your helpless and it's up to the world to solve these problems for you. All your doing is telling yourself 'I'm weak and the world is a scary dangerous and evil place' how do you think that mentally will affect your life? Stop now, don't allow yourself to complain for a week. You'll be amazed at how much happier and calmer you feel. Task 1. Don't complain for a week 2. The Rocco Effect - Meaning

It's not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are - Roy Disney I get it, knowing 'Why your here' is a tough thing to know.  So choose your own meaning, at least till one chooses you.  Meaning gives you a reason to push through each day, no matter how bad it gets.  Meaning means you matter. Task 1. Write down as many things that you value. 2. pick the top 5 and order them 1 - 5 3. Ask yourself 'What can I do, daily to honor each of these values?' Video

The Rocco Effect - Focus

Can't emphasis this enough. Focus is the key to overcoming these mental problems. Don't let them win. If negative thoughts creep into your head tell them to 'Fuck off!' with as much emotion and power as possible then replace it with the exact opposite e.g 'i suck ' changes to' I'm bloody amazing '. Give it a go. It'll be tough but you'll start noticing a positive change in a few days. After weeks and months you'll be amazed at how much better you feel on a day to day basis. Task 1. Write down your negative thoughts 2. Change them to be positive. 3. Read the positive thoughts every morning and before you go to sleep. Video

The Rocco Effect - Stress

Stress happens when we focus on things outside our control.  Focus on the things you can control, your thoughts and your actions, that's it.   Task 1. Write down everything that's stressing you out.   2. Now write out what thoughts/actions you can take to combat them. 3. Start acting on whatever solutions you thought of and start noticing your stresses reduce themselves to zero.  Video
