My Key Skils

Press'CTRL' 'F' at the same time to search for a particular skill. Communication The secret to communication is listening twice as much as you talk. It's also important to find out what people want from the conversation and making deals with them so everyone can walk away happy.  We do this in every conversation we have. This is why some conversations can lead to a big fall out, people didn't listen and negotiate.  I have friends from all walks of life. This is because I treat everyone with the upmost respect. I won't hesitate to fight back if wronged but my goal is always to educate the other party on their wrong doing, not to inflict needless pain just because I felt hurt. The cycle of pain makes nothing better, education does.  I manged to negotiate a pay raise /free housing and a promotion in my last job as I bought in even more value for them, kids and parents loved me and they knew that losing me would mean losing them. Business Aw...

Qualities

What qualities do you have that your proud of? Are you kind, helpful, loyal, honest, courageous, adventurist?  Write as many as you can down.  Read and remind yourself every morning for the next week about how awesome you are.  Close your eyes and remember times you acted the qualities out.  Notice how you feel during this..Notice your posture as well.  Walk out into the world with your shoulders back and feeling , awesome and do 1 thing that  will highlight 1 of your qualities.

Ask better questions

Stop asking yourself 'why is my life so bad?', 'Why does no one like me?' 'Why do I fail at everything?' and focusing on all the crap, Instead ask yourself 'How can I make my life better?' 'What can I do to be more attractive?' 'What are some smaller tasks I can easily win at?' these types of questions will allow you to think of solutions.  Focusing on what you can do to improve and actively moving towards a better future (even if it's slow) will lead to a much happier and more meaningful life. Try it for a few days and notice how you feel after answering these questions.  

Fix the small problems

If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed. -  William H. McRaven This has multiple benefits for 1 fixing problems makes your world a better place, living in a better world should make you happier.  It also serves as a small win.  It's an easy task but do enough small things and you'll start feeling proud and happier.  And it's not just you who lives on this world, if your help affects others then your likely to get more and more people who like you. If you notice a small problem (or something that could lead to a problem) solve it. See some mess? clean it. Dishes pilings up? Clean them and put them back? No clothes? Clean them. By solving the small problems it gives you more time to do the things you want. You'll have accomplished something so you will feel pride /happy. This is a very easy task and over time the benefits really add up so i highly encourage everyone reading to try this. Wherever you are. Stay seated but lo...

Gratitude - The three A's of Awesome

Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough - Oprah Winfrey One of my favorite Ted talks if you're depressed or wanting to avoid depression it's worth checking out. Task - check out his website ( http://1000awesomethings.com ) Then write your own list of things you are grateful for (Even if it's just 1 thing each day). Add to the list, or just read it every morning to make sure you start the day in the right state of mind. The idea is to start to notice just how much you have to be grateful for, If your grateful it's a lot harder to be depressed. If you can't appreciate what you have you'll never be happy so learn how to appreciate all you have.
